W. Jerome Stevenson, now in his nineteenth year with the Pollard Theatre, is a graduate of Langston University and has established himself as a multi-talented leader in the Resident Company. A highly diverse theatre artist, Jerome's directing credits included Dinner with Friends, Godspell, La Cage aux Folles, The Diary of Anne Frank and The Full Monty. As a performer, Jerome's favorite roles include Thomas B. Collins in RENT, Ken in Ain't Misbehavin', Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple, Adam in Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, Willie Malopo in Master Harold 'and the Boys', Billy Flynn in Chicago, Man #2 in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, Othello in Othello and Narrator in Passing Strange. Jerome has also served as Musical Director for several productions including Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Das Barbecu, Fiddler on the Roof and Little Shop of Horrors. His scenic designs have been featured in 12 Angry Men and The Guys. Lighting design credits include Chicago, Fiddler on the Roof, A Territorial Christmas Carol and The Woman in Black. Audiences may also recognize Jerome's voice from multiple local radio and television commercials. Jerome's film credits include the award-winning independent film, Making Arrangements, and Wisteria: The Albert Fish Story, with Patrick Bauchau and Jack Conley.
